This is a website I created about a fictitious Chilean restaurant. I used an actual Chilean Restaurant called Café Valparaiso as a reference. Some of the menu items are pictures I took of the food and some are creative commons licensed. The website was built to be responsive so that it could be viewed on multiple devices with various device widths.
Go to Maximillian'sThis is a website I created based on a fictitious business using the Bootstrap Carousel template as a starting point. I developed an interest in shooting and that motivated me to work on this project. I did some research on existing indoor firing ranges and implemented the layout of the website on that research within the Bootstrap template. All the images are creative commons licensed and the majority are from flickr.com. The navigation for this website uses drop-down menus but within each page I also included links to the pages. The home page uses icons to draw the users attention to three main subjects that I want them to focus on first: pricing, events and tournaments.
Go to Holgarf's Indoor Firing range pageThis is a branch story game I created using HTML, CSS and Javascript. The player is introduced to the game scenario where he is given a choice of opening doors to escape the dungeon cell he is in. Along the way there are more decisions he has to make. I used Javascript code created by Will Bontrager to hide and show different divs based on the players choices. The player clicks on an image and it takes him to a different scene within the game. Basically, he clicks on a image of a left door and the code will show a div corresponding to that clicked image. This is still a work in progress and am looking to improve on it more.

I was sitting in my living room when i noticed this shadow of the plants in the front garden appear on the living room wall. I loved it. I used my blackberry mobile to capture it.

I found some royalty free images on the Internet that I felt really represented the uniqueness of this park. I used green and brown for the majority of this brochure because I felt they best represented the California parks brand. For the headings and subheadings I use a bold black color and for the body of the text I used a white color text to contrast with the green. I felt this was best for legibility.
